These cartridges are very similar to ones with the same names in the Reference series. The only difference is that they utilise a low output (around 0.5mV) because of the lower number of turns in their coils and therefore a lower impedance. This solved one of the great dissadvantages of the MM cartridges: high impedance of the coils.
